Welcome to Pink Hazard. This site is dedicated to Takahiro and Nariko, two Asian Ball Jointed Dolls by Angelregion. Nariko wants to be a Fashion Designer and Takahiro, her boyfriend, is her model and creative partner. He doesn't design as much as she does, but he does give her pointers about the artistic direction she takes with certain outfits. Takahiro's style is cool, mostly punk with a bit of Goth sometimes. Nariko likes all sorts of alternative styles. Sometimes she can even be found wearing Sweet Lolita outfits! But for daywear she usually resorts to the same as Takahiro. She likes designing clothes and accessories with both a cool and a romantic style and the most fun she has is when she combines the two! She likes ribbons and lace, flowers and everything pink. For cool things she likes jeans and leather, studs and eyelets and especially anything she can lace-up. Takahiro likes these things too, although not so much the girlie stuff. He likes big boots with chains and rings, leather and silver jewelry. They both like experimenting with their hair a lot, so they will be seen in many different hairdos.
O.k., so now it's also dedicated to Ryu, Kaida, Bran, Morgan, Lilith, Kiril, Kazuo, Fionnuala, Daray and Nixie. This site is getting crowded! Please click on the names of the dolls to read their bios.
ABOUT US
Marcia and Joyce are the founders of Netherlands' first Barbiemuseum. All of their story can be read on the two sites they've dedicated to their doll addiction:

We rolled into BJD's thanks to a friend of ours, allanieew. She attended a Halloween Fashion Doll Party we threw in 2005. She brought her gorgeous Volks dolls along and told the attendees all about them. Back then, we couldn't get past: she paid THAT much money for a naked, bald doll? We can buy a limited edition fabulously dressed and coifed Barbie doll for that.
Boy, who knew...
Not too long after viewing the Volks site, Alchemic Lab and Bambicrony, we stumbled upon two dolls that caught our interest. One was Elfdoll Sooah, the other Angelregion Diana. We knew back then that the girls would look weird together, so we decided it would be one or the other. Marcia was directed to Den of Angels, where she tried to find out more about the two girls.
More and more, Diana haunted Marcia. so finally, they decided to bring her home. When the box arrived on dember 12, 2006, it didn't contain her though! When unwrapping the bubblewrap, Marcia noticed that Diana's face seemed to have rounder eyes in the pictures. And she was sure she had a more mature chest. When she looked down, she noticed Diana was a boy! So, they sent the wrong doll, Joyce and Marcia received a Kai. Well, being new to the hobby, Marcia believed the doll should have been sent to someone else and that he wasn't to be theirs. She contacted Angelregion, telling them that they received the wrong doll. Joyce fell in love with the naked little guy in the meantime. By the time AR suggested we could buy him, Joyce grabbed the opportunity! Diana was shipped out very fast and she arrived on the day we attended our first meeting, december 29, 2006.
Never having expected to own 2 dolls so soon and actually having planned on owning just one, we were taken by surprise again when we brought home Bran, our Dollzone Wing. We saw the tall elvish guy and he was perfect. And since we had saved up, we adopted Takahiro's brother and sister Ryu and Kaida, DZ Ami & Ani.
That's when we seriously started thinking about their storyline and we fell in love with Fairygarden's Tiny Near who we named Daray. He is Bran's nephew. Daray came with a little friend, Nixie (Fairygarden's Tiny Lii). They arrived on the same day as our very first Dollzone order for the store! And this would be the same day that we adopted Kazuo (Dollzone Meigi). We unpacked the dolls for the store order, checking for damage. I guess Kazuo really wanted to stay, because he fell flat on his face and the paint on his nose was damaged. We could'nt sell him anymore, so he stayed with us.
After these new arrivals, we ordered Pupapa's Safi head (limited to 55 pieces!) and later on gave her a Dollzone body. Her storyline was to be an ex of Kazuo and cursed to look like a deer. That didn't work out for her, so now she will be a poisonous warrior elf with a romantic interest in Kazuo.
Then came Lilith. She was a head at first, Cerberus Project (Luts) Vampire Dark Elf Soo. She is Daray's mom and Bran's sister. We decided to get them another sister as well, Morgan (CP Dark ELF Soo). Lilith is married to Kiril, the Na-nu-ri 2007 event head that came with Morgan.
When saving for Kiril's body, we were totally swept away by Micah, our Dollshe Hound. He had to come home first as Bran's new love interest. Although Micah is bi-sexual and not too into commitment, he and Bran fell in love and they are such a cute couple. Micah is losing interest in other possible lovers more and more. For Bran, it was love at first sight!
And recently, we adopted Ninodoll Bada, Jack. He is a band member of Takahiro and a bad influence on him. Also, to get him a body which he will need to share for the time being, we adopted Amakusa Shirou Tokisada by Volks, made for the Hometown Dolpa Osaka 4 held on August 12, 2007. He is our first fullset limited doll!
