Cut 1 strip of fabric of 24 x 3 cm Cut 2 strips of tulle of 36 x 4.8 cm

A Cut 2 strips of tulle of 48 x 4.8 cm

B Cut 2 strips of tulle of 60 x 4.8 cm

C Stitch 1 seam of the underskirt together.

Wrinkle the 1st strip B and then the 1st C.

Lockstitch the 1st strip A and B together, then lockstitch the strip C against B.

Repeat to get 2 separate layers of flounce.

Stitch the first flounce about 0.5 - 1 cm from the top hem against the underskirt.

Stitch the second flounce close to the top hem.

Stitch the strip of fabric against the outside of the skirt, upside-down.

Now fold the strip over to the other side and create a tunnel (for the elastic band).

Now lockstitch each layer of flounce to close separately.

Close the 2nd seam of the underskirt untill about 1 cm from the tunnel.

Now pull the elastic band thru, fit to the waist of your doll, knot it.

Handstitch the last bit of seam and the tunnel to close.
